Job Description
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculum and educational standards based on data-rich assessment and feedback design.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and growth.
- Provide instruction in various subjects, such as math, literacy, science, and social studies.
- Utilize effective teaching strategies to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive student educational experience.
- Use technology and other resources to enhance instruction and student engagement.
- Foster a safe and respectful classroom environment where students feel valued and supported.
- Encourage student participation and facilitate classroom discussions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
- Valid teaching certification or license.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in education.
- Strong understanding of math, literacy education, and other core subjects.
- Ability to develop age-appropriate lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Experience in tutoring or providing additional support to students is preferred.
- Passion for working with children and helping them succeed academically.
