2nd Grade Teacher
Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy seeks a 2nd Grade Teacher with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree and a LA state certification in Elementary Education. Additional certifications in Special Education, Reading Specialist, and/or ELL is desirable. Two (2) years experience with children in a school setting is preferred. Familiarity with LA Student Standards, LEAP Assessments, Guided Reading, and Writing Workshop is required. Interest in leading extracurricular student activities is a plus. Workshops and training during the summer of 2025 will be required. Position available August 2025.
