Discovery Learning Center is seeking a dedicated Childcare Provider for 3-4 years old age group children to join our team and provide exceptional care and education to children in our facility. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and creating a safe, nurturing environment for their growth and development.
Discovery do offer free/reduce childcare for employees. All compensations are based on experience and education.

Requirements
Must be 18 years old and above.
Valid ID
High School diploma/GED
Duties:
- Provide care and support to children in a nurturing and safe environment
- Assist with daily activities.
- Engage children in educational and recreational activities
- Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive behavior
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and therapists to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Monitor and document children's progress and report any concerns to the appropriate professionals
- Maintain a clean and organized environment for the children
Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in your care
- Teacher must be able to implement age-appropriate activities provided by DLC.
- Maintain open and effective communication with parents/guardians
- Ensure the well-being and hygiene of children, including diapering, feeding, and assisting with bathroom breaks
- Observe and monitor children's behavior to identify any developmental or behavioral issues
- Use positive behavior management techniques to promote a supportive and inclusive environment
- Collaborate with other childcare providers to create a cohesive team
- Teacher must have to follow and implement DLC's policies.
_Teachers are responsible for seasonal decorations in the classroom.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in nannying, daycare, or classroom management preferred
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
- needs and strategies is a plus
- First aid and CPR certification is required (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with children, parents, and colleagues
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children
