Primary Responsibilities :
Creates lesson plans that are balanced and appropriate to development levelsDocument learning experience through displays and picturesMaintains positive informal and formal communication with families on a daily basisMaintains a safe, comforting and stimulating environment for infants and toddlersFacilitates and maintains childcare licensing standardsFriendly and a desire to work as a team in a rewarding, fast-paced environmentPlans, supervises and implements all / part of the program in accordance with the philosophy, policies and procedures of DISCOVERY KIDZONE SCHOOLS.Is responsible for developmentally appropriate weekly lesson plans, rotation plans, staff communication regarding individual plans & rotation, and to post plans (or assure plans are posted) one week in advance for parents and staff.Guides program Teachers and staff in maintaining facility, supplies, and materials to reduce waste / breakage / misuse. etcAn ideal candidate has the following qualifications :
A minimum of CDA plus 2 years experience as a lead teacherAn AA in Early Childhood Education is preferredSome leadership training and experienceClear fingerprints for FBI, DOJ, and child abuse.Compassion For Children.Eagerness to Learn.Reliable and Ready to Make a Difference.Creative and EnergeticBase pay is determined by education and experience, with the potential to earn performance bonuses of up to an additional $2 per hour as part of the compensation package.
