Seasonal Bartender

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team at Dune Deck Beach Club, a premier beachfront club in Westhampton Beach, New York.

About the Role

This is a seasonal full-time position that will run from May 1st to September 30th, with H-2B visa sponsorship available for in-country extensions. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service and ensuring timely delivery of drinks while maintaining a clean and organized bar area.

Key Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with culinary and F&B leaders to create exceptional culinary standards and an environment of continuous improvement.
• Provide outstanding customer service and communication at all times, anticipating and responding promptly to guest needs.
• Prepare and serve beverages according to company standards, including craft cocktails and house-made ingredients.
• Present extensive knowledge of beverages and ingredients, making recommendations based on preferences or food pairings.
• Maintain thorough understanding of menu items, daily specials, and food allergies/special requests.
• Enter transactions accurately into the POS system and issue checks timely and according to policies and procedures.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the bar and storage areas, adhering to food safety standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• H2B Visa Sponsorship: Seeking in-country extension candidates with active H-2B visa and one year of previous bartending experience in a fast-paced establishment.
• Knowledge of HACCP & local food safety standards, possessing or able to obtain State Food Safety Certificate.
• Robust knowledge of wines and beverages, with exceptional attention to detail, quality, and service.

• Daily travel to worksite within the employment area, with employer-provided transportation.

• Fluency in English, with additional languages a plus.
• Meet physical demands of the position, including standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Benefits
