This role will be located at one of Discovery Land Company's Corporate Office locations in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Discovery Land Company is seeking a Senior HR Coordinator to join the Human Resources Department.
The Senior Human Resources Coordinator will help Discovery Land Company's Corporate Human Resources team by facilitating efficient HR operations by managing employee records, coordinating recruitment processes, and providing administrative support.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, and employee transitions.
- Maintain and update HR systems (HRIS), ensuring accuracy of employee data, records, and reporting, proficient in Workday.
- Support senior leadership by working as a liaison between HR and legal, and managing the lifecycle of employment contracts, amendments, and independent contractor agreements.
- Assist in handling complex employee relations issues, including documenting and managing sensitive investigations.
- Lead the creation and implementation of HR project plans, including new hire orientations, policy rollouts, and compliance initiatives.
- Provide timely and accurate responses to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and payroll.
- Collaborate with recruiters and hiring managers to coordinate candidate interviews, offer letters, and pre-hire requirements.
- Support the internal HR team to expedite processes and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Support and work with global HR leaders on projects and initiatives as needed.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal labor laws by maintaining up-to-date knowledge and advising leadership as needed.
- Act as a liaison for cross-functional projects, working with HR managers, general managers, and other stakeholders.
- Coordinate and manage vendor relationships for HR services, including background checks, benefits administration, and training programs.
- Manage and coordinate global HR initiatives and meetings, facilitating communication across regions.
- Other duties as assigned by VP of HR and CHRO
