Role Description
This is a contract hybrid role for a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Discovery Mental Health Counseling, PLLC. The counselor will be responsible for treatment planning, mental health counseling, proper documentation, and client case management. This role allows for flexibility with some remote work. This is a Contractor role, and pay is based on the type of session, length of session, quantity of sessions, and experience level.
Qualifications
- Bilingual English / Spanish preferred
- Supervisory experience a plus
- Strong writing skills
- Ability to learn EHR and online systems quickly
- Must be able to commute to the office for in-person visits
- Treatment Planning and Case Management experience
- Mental Health Counseling experience in person and telehealth
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Knowledge of diverse therapeutic techniques
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Licensure as a Mental Health Counselor in Florida
- Experience working with diverse populations and trauma survivors
Office Hours :
Office hours are from 12 PM - 9 PM Monday - Friday and from 8 AM to 4 PM on Saturdays. Contractors may choose their schedules based on these hours. We are looking for someone who can do a minimum of 35 scheduled visits per week (Caseload built up over time).
