Compensation Range:$89k-108,160k annually

The Nurse Supervisorsupervises, heads and coordinates nursing activities with nursing personnel. Is responsible for facility regulation compliance in relation to nursing for all facilities they are assigned to supervise. This Supervisor position will oversee and supervise nursing and will be a leader in the division, working directly with the other on-site management to positively effect culture and treatment.
Responsibilities
- As part of leadership, create a positive culture on site that embodies the discovery mission.
- Is available during non-working hours for consultation.
- Supports with EMR medication management and training
- Will be in charge of developing and maintaining the schedule for nursing at assigned home location.
- Provide and/or assign staff training in medication management and vitals upon hire
- Provide medication management training as necessary
- Teach abuse prevention
- Support in Supervising nursing staff and participate in reviews.Ensures compliance with personal employee record
- Foster open communication and working relationships with doctors
- Perform chart audits weekly for assigned home location and spot check all other locations on monthly basis
- Manage each DMAP location pharmacy setup and maintenance for medication supplies and monthly pharmacy audits. As well as setup in the EMR for escribe/faxes.
- Complete pharmacy audits monthly (with outside person) for assigned home location and ensure other sites are setup and completed on monthly basis.
- Contacts patient family members at the direction of the treatment team to set appointments or educate patients regarding status and/or progress.
- Participation in treatment teams as medical representative as needed
- Provide a quarterly audit of medication rooms to ensure compliance
- Responsible for the proper storage and disposal of medical waste at all DMAP locations and manages the accounts.
Qualifications
- Must be a Nurse with current licensure in the state of employment
- Bachelors of Nursing preferred
- Two years’ experience with compliance and personnel management preferred
- Experience with adolescent psychiatric care preferred
