General Summary
This Sales Manager will accelerate our growth by implementing innovative sales strategies to expand group sales revenue. Working closely with the Senior Director of Marketing, they will drive both personal sales success and guide team performance to better serve our community through increased reach and impact.
Responsibilities
- Make 250-500 outbound calls weekly when possible and serve as primary appointment setter for the sales team.
- Develop and execute outbound sales strategy to achieve museum and program revenue goals.
- Leverage Salesforce to track customer interactions, monitor sales metrics, and generate performance analytics.
- Maintain accurate customer data and lead tracking processes to maximize conversion rates.
- Book and manage group visits using Ticketure and Salesforce systems.
- Serve as primary service and booking agent for Outreach Program.
- Build and maintain relationships with key players in travel, tourism, and education sectors to drive group bookings.
- Identify and pursue strategic partnership opportunities through active networking.
- Create targeted proposals that align with school objectives and sales targets.
- Optimize sales processes through Salesforce automation and workflow improvements.
- Collaborate with management to set and achieve annual goals.

Competencies
- Proven sales track record with team management and relationship-building expertise
- Experience developing new markets and managing major accounts
- Knowledge of experience/ticket sales for attractions or entertainment
- Familiarity with nonprofit and education sectors preferred
- Proficiency in ticketing systems, CRM, and Microsoft Office suite
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated leadership and problem-solving abilities
Working Conditions
As of now, we work in a hybrid model. The position requires in-office work several days a week, but there are also opportunities for remote work.
Travel
You should be able to visit our four local museums occasionally.
