Responsibilities:
- Provide assistance to teachers in different classrooms as needed, helping with morning routines, transitions, and activities.
- Supervise and engage children during arrival time, breakfast/snack time, and early morning play.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of children while maintaining a nurturing and positive environment.
- Support teachers with classroom management and help with setting up materials for daily activities.
- Assist with organizing and maintaining classroom supplies and materials.
- Help monitor children during outdoor play or other group activities.
- Communicate effectively with team members and parents regarding children’s progress and needs.
- Step in for teachers or assistants during break times or when additional coverage is required.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in classrooms and common areas.
- Provide individualized attention to each child, helping with feeding, diapering, and other personal care needs.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree or higher in Early Childhood Education is a plus).
- Experience working in a childcare or preschool setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly to different classroom environments and age groups.
- Enthusiastic, reliable, and flexible attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
Salary : $12 - $15
