What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeper position at Discovery Ranch South?
10-15 Hours / week - More hours available through Residential Director.
As an estate housekeeper, you will create a clean and orderly environment for staff, students and parents that will become a crucial factor in strengthening our reputation.
This position is for deep cleaning the campus on a regular basis to prevent wear and tear, present a clean facility and report needed repairs.
This person will not be called off their normal scheduled duties for issues that are staff and student responsibilities.
Duties Include :
- Clean and tidy all service buildings on campus as directed
- Completing the weekly, monthly and quarterly jobs duties check list that is provided and turned in daily to the Facility Coordinator.
- Being professional with the ability to attend to facilities with integrity and attention to detail.
- Protect DRG equipment and making sure there are no inadequacies
- Ensuring all facilities are cared for and inspected according to DRG standards
- Stock and order all supplies (paper towels, soap for all bathrooms, cleaning supplies).
- Sweeping, dusting, polishing, mopping , deep cleaning and any other cleaning that is scheduled throughout campus
Requirements
- 19 years of age
- Eligible to work in the USA
- Able to pass background check
- Current Utah driver's license (within 30 days of employment)
- Works well within a team
- Strong problem-solving aptitude
- Good judgement
- Safety-oriented
- Firm, healthy boundaries
- Must be able to complete responsibilities under various weather conditions such as snow, ice, heat.
Preferred
High School diploma or equivalent
