Job Summary

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Part-Time Caregivers on weekend to join our team at our Assisted Living Community. The ideal candidate will enhance the quality of life for our residents by providing compassionate care and assistance with daily living activities. This role is perfect for individuals who are committed to making a positive impact in the lives of seniors while working in a supportive and nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance to residents, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring resident safety at all times.
• Support residents with daily activities such as meal preparation, eating, and medication reminders.
• Engage residents in social activities and outings to promote emotional well-being and community involvement.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members to ensure continuity of care.
• Document and report any changes in residents' health or behavior to nursing staff or management.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.
• Adhere to all safety and health regulations, as well as community policies and procedures.
  
  

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications (CNA, HHA, etc.) are a plus.
• Previous experience in caregiving, home health, or a related field preferred.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with residents, families, and staff.
• Compassionate, patient, and understanding toward seniors and their unique needs.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Physical stamina to assist with mobility, lifting, and physical activities.
• Must pass background checks and obtain any required state certifications.
