**Job Title:** Preschool Teacher/Assistant
**Job Summary:** We are seeking an experienced teacher to join our other preschool teacher on Fridays. The ideal candidate will have a passion for educating young children and creating a nurturing learning environment.
**Job Type:** Part-Time
**Schedule:** Friday 8:45 am - 3:15 pm
Additional optional days may be available as a substitute teacher.
**Duties:** - Implement provided lesson plans. Create a safe and supportive learning environment for all students. Foster a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages creativity and exploration. Responsible for the children's safety and wellbeing. Maintain attendance roster. Classroom setup and cleanup.
**Qualifications:**
Preschool - Strong classroom management skills - Proficiency in early childhood education principles
- Knowledge of childhood development stages and best practices - Previous experience in tutoring or special education is a plus.
- Enthusiasm for outdoor learning and a commitment to incorporating nature-based experiences into the curriculum.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 6.5 – 20 per week
