**Job Summary:** We are seeking an experienced teacher to join our team as a substitute teacher at a private school. The ideal candidate will have a passion for educating young children and creating a nurturing learning environment. We are looking for someone for preschool or elementary.
**Job Type:** Part-Time/On Call
**Schedule:** Monday through Friday. 8am - 2:30pm or 9am - 3pm
**Duties:** - Implement provided lesson plans. Create a safe and supportive learning environment for all students. Foster a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages creativity and exploration. Responsible for the children's safety and wellbeing. Maintain attendance roster.
**Qualifications:**
Preschool - Strong classroom management skills - Proficiency in early childhood education principles
Elementary - Strong classroom management skills - Ability to educate students in various subjects including math and language arts.
- Knowledge of childhood development stages and best practices - Previous experience in tutoring or special education is a plus.
- Enthusiasm for outdoor learning and a commitment to incorporating nature-based experiences into the curriculum.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
