Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Elementary School Teacher to join our educational team. Duties
- Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that align with Tools of the Mind curriculum standards.
- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
- Assess and monitor student progress through standardized testing and other evaluation methods.
- Provide individualized support to students, adapting teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs.
- Promote literacy education by integrating reading and writing activities into daily lessons.
- Collaborate with parents, colleagues, and administration to support child welfare and educational goals.
- Utilize Tools of the Mind principles where appropriate to enhance learning experiences for students.
- Maintain classroom organization and ensure a safe learning environment for all students.
- Engage in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education is required.
- Current P-3 Certification or Certificate of Eligibility
- Experience working with children in an educational setting is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles, including literacy education and math instruction.
- Familiarity with standardized testing procedures and child welfare practices.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with students, parents, and staff.
- Ability to create a nurturing environment that supports the emotional and academic growth of students.
- Experience or training in Tools of the Mind methods is a plus but not required.
