We are hiring a full-time Assistant Director for our ministry, who will help support the Director and provide leadership in the day-to-day operations of the child care program. The assistant director aids the director in all aspects of the program. This may include but not limited to, staff management, educational programming, operations management, tuition and budget and responding to the needs of families.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
An Associates degree or higher, including 30 credit hours in the human services field or higher
Minimum of 2 years of experience with children
CPR and First aid certification or willing to obtain
Must be able to use computer with basic proficiency
Able to sit, squat, and stand for periods of time, and able to lift 40 plus pound is needed
Spends time in prayer and study of God’s Word
Demonstrates the fruit in life and ministry in accordance with Scripture
Ability to work within a team environment, having a heart of service and flexibility

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversee policies and procedures that meet the state/local regulations and professional standards pertaining to the health and safety of the enrolled children
The ability help supervise, and motivate staff of varying racial, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds to high levels of performance.
Implement a staff development program. Help provide ongoing training, disseminate information on current educational research and practices. Provide professional growth opportunities for staff members.
Provide spiritual leadership to staff, children, and parents, both through example and through actively promoting spiritual growth
Respond to parents and staff members' concerns, solve problems, and resolve differences.
Inform parents of school events and policies through weekly emails, the parent handbook, and other written communication as necessary.
Communicate with director to ensure proper maintenance of the physical grounds, buildings, and equipment, ensuring safety.
Perform administrative task, necessary to operation of the school, such as, but not limited to, with assistant of the Director
Provide adequate staffing for the number of children enrolled and help set employee work schedules
Arrange for substitutes as needed
Aiding in ordering and purchasing of supplies relevant to the center
Enrollment in all required state and local programs, as ELRC, Stars & CACFP.
Work together with parents and teachers to promote children’s successful integration into a classroom setting.
Continually build the childcare program with programs, enrollment & staff.
Maintaining enrollment forms, update as needed
Ensure all student and staff profiles are up to date with all required items

Full Time Hours , Monday through Friday, Between 7AM-5;30PM
