As a Preschool Teacher at Discovery Zone Learning Center, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational experiences of our young learners. Responsibilities
- Design and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the developmental needs of preschool-aged children with our DZLC format.
- Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively while promoting positive interactions among students.
- Assess and document children's progress, adapting teaching methods to meet individual needs.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to support children's learning at home.
- Develop age-appropriate curriculum that aligns with educational standards.
- Supervise daily activities, ensuring the safety and well-being of all children in care.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching practices.
Qualifications
- Experience in Early Childhood Education and/or a degree in ECE or a related field preferred.
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Demonstrated ability in lesson planning and curriculum development.
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques suitable for young children.
- Ability to create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for toddlers and preschoolers.
