The position is Monday-Friday 3-6 pm with possible other hours available pending the centers needs.
Summary
We are seeking a passionate part time, afternoon hour, Toddler Teacher to join our team at Discovery Zone Learning Center. In this role, you will be responsible for fostering a positive learning environment for toddler-aged children, encouraging their social, emotional, and cognitive development. Your contributions will play a vital role in shaping young minds and preparing them for future educational success.
Responsibilities
- Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Foster positive relationships with children, promoting social skills and emotional development.
- Collaborate with other educators and staff to enhance the learning experience.
- Maintain classroom organization and manage behavior effectively.
- Help with meals.
- Diaper changing and potty training.
Requirements
- Some experience with toddler age children.
