Surpassing network limitations of the past, our Wireless Development organization is building the countrys first cloud-native, standalone 5G wireless network. This is the foundation of a connected world flexible enough to satisfy all the social, economic and transformative needs of today and the future.
Job Duties and Responsibilities :
As a 5G ORAN Field Engineer, youll be out in the field keeping our facilities and equipment in top form by maintaining multiple locations in your assigned area. You will be in charge of post construction checks, single site verification, commissioning, site acceptance, testing and maintaining cell sites and edge and local data center installations. You will also be evaluating our network coverage and finding ways to make
it even better.
In this role, you will :
- Operate, maintain, and perform preventative maintenance on wireless network cell site equipment.
- Support and deploy CU-CP and CU-UP network functions using VMWare Telco Cloud Automation Platform.
- Configure CSR and inspect site cabinets for damage or post-construction issues.
- Validate breaker placement, GPS cable, backhaul fiber connections, and power / site configuration.
- Verify antenna positions, perform single site verification using EXFO tool for various issues.
- Collaborate with experts for integration, troubleshoot network functionality, maintain inventory records, resolve tickets, and ensure compliance with installation standards.

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
