Job Duties and Responsibilities
The Inventory Specialist manages material and equipment flow in and out of the warehouse, supporting internal and external customers. Key Responsibilities include:
- Documenting equipment, merchandise, supplies, and van inventory
- Maintaining accurate physical counts of van products, warehouse products, and saleable products daily, weekly, or monthly
- Receiving returned equipment, new inventory, and vendor shipments; stocking inventory and recording distributed hardware information in the computer tracking system
- Completing daily inventory transactions for all products used, linking them to proper accounts
- Preparing equipment shipments to remote employees, ensuring accurate documentation and timely delivery
- A valid driver's license in the State you are seeking employment in, with a driving record meeting Dish's minimum safety standard
- Willingsness to work flexible hours, including weekends, and receive overtime compensation
- Frequently lifting and/or moving up to 75 pounds, occasionally required to lift up to 125 pounds
- Safely operating warehouse equipment (pallet jack, forklift)
- Utilizing computer systems and inventory tracking programs to manage and update inventory records efficiently and accurately
