About the Position
The Driver and Safety Specialist is a critical role within our school community, ensuring the safe transportation of students. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing bus operations, developing policies, and maintaining a positive working relationship with students, parents, and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive school bus to transport students over scheduled routes and/or special excursions
- Develop and implement safe bus operating procedures
- Maintain accurate records of bus operations, including maintenance and incident reports
- Collaborate with school administrators to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
- Provide training and guidance to new drivers on safe driving practices
Qualifications
- Valid Arizona Driver's License with a clean driving record
- Experience in bus driving and operations management
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
