What You Will Get To Do
Design and Development:
- Lead the conceptualization and execution of architectural design solutions for commercial and educational buildings
- Create detailed architectural drawings, 3D models, and renderings using design software (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Enscape)
- Ensure designs comply with all building codes, standards, and regulatory requirements
- Manage architectural projects from design through completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and resources are met
- Collaborate with engineers, interior designers, and other stakeholders to integrate architectural designs with other disciplines
- Participate in design review meetings, providing feedback and ensuring alignment with project goals
- Provide guidance on material selection, sustainability principles, and innovative design approaches
- Conduct site visits, field verifications, and assessments to ensure design feasibility and code compliance
- Stay current on architectural trends, technologies, and materials to enhance project outcomes
- Review and approve architectural documents and specifications
- Conduct quality checks to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and adherence to design standards
- Mentor junior designers and collaborate with team members to foster a culture of continuous improvement
- Lead design presentations and communicate design concepts to clients and project teams
- Interface with clients to understand their vision and translate it into creative design solutions
- Prepare and present design proposals, reports, and visual materials to stakeholders
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution
- Minimum of five (5) years of relevant architectural design experience
- Proficiency in architectural software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong understanding of architectural design principles, building systems, and construction methods
- Familiarity with local building codes and sustainable design practices
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
