What you will get to do:
- Design and engineer electrical power distribution systems, lighting, lighting controls and fire alarms
- Develop technical specifications for electrical systems
- Perform power flow, short circuit, arc flash and lighting luminaire calculations for manufacturing facilities in the food and beverage industry
- Engineer mechanical, HVAC, refrigeration, and plumbing systems with a particular focus on Ammonia Refrigeration systems design, regulatory compliance, and specification
- Attend and/or direct weekly and monthly meetings with clients and contractors
- Monitor work as per specification with national standard codes
- Travel to project sites across the US to collect, measure data and inspect on-going construction for compliance with design drawings and specifications
- Periodically travel two weeks per month may be required
- Produce technical plans, specifications, drawings and 3d models using Autodesk Revit for multiple projects
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or related required
- Demonstrated working or theoretical knowledge in relevant technical / engineering terminology and 3D modeling
- Domestic travel up to 50% of time to undetermined project sites
