Responsibilities:
- Always ensure the safety and well-being of our residents
- Support clients in taking steps towards achieving their wellness and recovery goals
- Serve as a liaison between residents and clinical staff
- Participate in 1:1 and group activities
- Monitor and document client progress and behavior
- Collaborate with clinical support in implementing person centered treatment plans
- Provide emotional support and encouragement to residents
- Assist residents with establishing community resources and developing life skills
- Maintain appropriate and accurate documentation
- Observe self-administration of medications while maintaining accurate medication logs and records
- Redirect behaviors which impeded the recovery process
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of systems and resources available to individuals in need of support
- Familiarity with motivational interviewing techniques is a plus
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Compassionate, empathic, and patient demeanor
- Exceptional problem solving, time management, and prioritization skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Requirements:
- Applicants must possess a valid drivers license and reliable transportation
- Previous experience working in a recovery support or caregiving role
- Ability to be timely for all shifts
- CRSW, or willingness to complete within 9 months of hire is a plus
