In this role, you will be responsible for driving data-driven opportunities across Disney Advertising’s portfolio of offerings. Working collaboratively across functions, you will develop, drive, and build new tools and analyses to ensure the growth of the business and the overall bottom line.Responsibilities and Duties of the Role : Help grow a multichannel advertising technology capability by leveraging internal and external datasets to expand our reach within and across platformsAnalyze complex data sets representing millions of users to understand user behavior and identify key characteristics of groups of users to better define audience segmentsBalance business timelines with scientific rigor to improve decision making while working in an MVP (minimum viable product) model environmentReview results from and provide feedback on controlled experiments to test hypotheses and improve best practices across the organizationBuild reporting tools to enable self-service for sales teamsWork with internal stakeholders to define analytics needs and scope projectsRequired Education, Experience / Skills / Training : B.A. or B.S. (graduate degree a plus) in a quantitative field (Math / Statistics, CS, Engineering, Business, Economics, experimental science, or similar)3 years of experience driving measurable results (monetization, engagement) with digital products across various business modelsExperience with complex, large-scale relational databases, statistical programs, and other tools (SQL, SAS, R, etc.) with an aptitude to learn other technical applications quickly to compile and interpret quantitative dataExperience building complex visualizations (Tableau, Looker a plus)Innovative thinker capable of operating both in a strategic capacity (big-picture perspective, asks 'why') and a hands-on / execution capacity (detail-oriented, conscientious)Ability to confidently translate quantitative analyses into compelling and actionable recommendationsGreat communication and teamwork skillsThe hiring range for this position in California is $95,300 to $127,800 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and / or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and / or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
