What You'll Do
Modeling : Utilize advanced machine learning techniques and statistical analysis to create models for opportunity sizing, targeting, and optimization.
Deep Analysis : Examine user behavioral data to identify trends, discover new opportunities, and foster a comprehensive understanding of user engagement with our services and content.
Visualization of Insights : Develop prototype solutions, mathematical models, and robust analytics, delivering impactful insights in a clear and visually appealing manner.
Partnership : Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to uncover and capitalize on opportunities, while working with data teams to enhance capabilities in data modeling, visualization, experimentation, and architecture.
What To Bring
Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
7 years of relevant experience in developing machine learning models and performing statistical analysis.
Strong understanding of machine learning principles and statistical techniques.
Proven ability to derive insights and conclusions from data to guide model development and business strategies.
Enthusiasm for working alongside data scientists, analysts, and key business partners.
Proficiency in Python for data analysis and machine learning model development (familiarity with frameworks such as TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, etc.).
Experience in reading and writing Object-Oriented code for model pipeline implementation (using tools like Airflow or Luigi).
Knowledge of SQL and experience with distributed data technologies (e.g., Hive, Spark).
Nice To Haves
Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Physics, or a closely related quantitative field.
Familiarity with Bayesian modeling and probabilistic programming languages / packages (such as Stan or PyMC).
Experience in fully integrating and operationalizing data science solutions in a business context.
Additional Information
The hiring range for this role in the Los Angeles, CA area is $149,300-$200,200. The actual base salary offered will consider internal equity and may vary based on the candidate's geographic location, relevant experience, and skills. Additional compensation may include bonuses and long-term incentive units, alongside comprehensive benefits packages.
