Job Summary :
Network Operations Engineers are expected to be well versed in numerous networking protocols, technologies and troubleshooting methodology. Utilizing this unique skill set, NetOps provide first line support to all departments with regards to traffic flow and network issues / inquiries. NetOps is also responsible for populating new DC builds in terms of configurations, documentation, monitoring, and support the needs of other teams with regards to their specific technologies.
Responsibilities and Duties of the Role :
- Provide first line support for all network issues
- Work with Network Engineering to implement Data Center Builds
- Produce accurate and easily parsable documentation for any new builds or procedures
- Performing routine hardware and software upgrades and configurations
Required Education, Experience / Skills / Training :
The hiring range for this position in Charlotte, NC is $99,600 to $133,500 per year, in Morrisville, NC is $99,600 to $133,500 per year, in The Woodlands, TX is $99,600 to $133,500 per year, and in Bristol, CT is $104,600 to $140,200 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and / or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and / or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
