About the Role & Program :
Disney Entertainment Television develops and produces compelling programming and some of the most successful talked-about series on television today! The DET Communications department is responsible for handling all communication efforts for ABC Entertainment, Hulu Originals, Freeform, Onyx Collective and 20th Television. As the DET Communications intern, you would assist the department in all areas on a rotation schedule.
What You Will Do :
- Rotate among various Communications teams within Disney Entertainment Television, supporting numerous leaders and project work
- Build and maintain schedules and press lists; assist in writing press releases, loglines, press blasts and bios
- Curate and disseminate information to team, including daily press breaks and raves tracking
- Send materials to press
- Support team at publicity and related events
- Contribute to brainstorming sessions and publicity strategy meetings
- Collaborate on social media efforts

Additional Information :
Availability to work full-time hours (approximately 40 hours per week) in-office for the duration of the internship. Work hours are 9am-6pm PT, Monday - Friday, but may include some early mornings / nights / weekends.
