As a Software Engineer II, you will use your coding and data skills to write and test code that delivers enhancements and new features for our Rights & Accounting applications portfolio. Responsibilities and Duties of the Role:
- Develop responsive and high-performance web applications using React, TypeScript, JavaScript and modern CSS frameworks
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers and take ownership of user experience decisions to implement elegant and usable interfaces.
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices.
- Optimize front-end performance for scalability and responsiveness.
- Integrate with APIs and backend services, ensuring seamless communication.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and knowledge sharing.
- Stay up to date with emerging web technologies and contribute to improving our front-end architecture.

- Writes codes that establishes and enhances frameworks. Reviews code for the design, testability, and clear usability. Builds solutions that scale and perform. Identifies opportunities to improve the system/product/services with each iteration.
- Have 3 years of experience in web application development or software engineering using JavaScript, TypeScript, React, HTML, and CSS, including familiarity with modern UI frameworks.
- Knowledge of UI performance optimization techniques.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Git and CI/CD workflows.
- Experience with testing frameworks.
- Care about your craft and have opinions about the “right” way to do things with technology.
- Be familiar with various Amazon Web Services such as S3 buckets, EKS, EC2, SQS/SNS, Lambdas, RDS, and more.
- Understanding of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and WebSockets.
- Possess knowledge of performance and application profiling.
- Have a strong curiosity about how Disney delivers the Magic and a desire to be a part of it.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Engineering, or another technical field.
Salary : $114,900 - $154,100
