As a finance partner supporting Disney Entertainment & ESPN (DE&E) Technology, you will be collaborating with technology and operations teams, focusing on cost modeling, budget planning and spend analysis, along with forecast deliverables to internal consolidation team, and regional clients. This particular role supports technology spend across international regions. Responsibilities
- Manage monthly/quarterly close, including entries, uploads to SAP/COGNOS and variance explanations to consolidation team, international finance partners, and segment teams
- Develop and manage allocation model, including communication with regional clients on time-spend
- Drive collection of inputs from tech leaders and operations partners to inform forecast and close
- Prepare and analyze complex budgets, plans, financial statements and/or reports, identify risks and opportunities, and ensure compliance with reporting requirements
- Work on ad hoc strategic analysis as needed, including KPIs and quarterly business reviews
- Collaborate with Accounting on the latest variance analysis and close entries
- Develop and present financial analysis for Technology partners
- Contribute to presentations for review with senior leaders
- Be part of a project team to enable the next company initiative
- 2 years of relevant work experience
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skillset
- Flexibility with time zone differences
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Advanced proficiency with Excel
- Collaborative mindset combined with ability to work independently
- Proven ability to manage multiple deliverables in a fast paced environment
- Intellectual curiosity
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting
- Working knowledge with international regions
- SAP & COGNOS preferred
Salary : $103,400 - $126,200
