Disney Media & Entertainment Distribution (DMED) brings together the Company’s best-in-class product, technology, and commercialization teams into one global organization. DMED is responsible for the P&L management and all distribution, network and engineering operations, sales, advertising, data, and certain key technology functions worldwide for the Company's content engines. DMED also manages operations of the Company's streaming services including Disney , Hulu, ESPN and Disney , Hotstar; and domestic broadcast and cable television networks.

Disney Advertising Sales drives the advertising revenue across platforms for the entire media portfolio – including ABC, ESPN, Hulu, Freeform, FX, National Geographic, Disney Channels Worldwide, and more.

The Sales Enablement team is responsible for providing a unified client service experience with ease and automation to more effectively drive revenue for the Advertising organization (DAS). Sales Enablement sits within the Ad Products and Enablement Organization which has the mission to enable DAS with best-in-class products, platforms and partnerships vital to revenue growth in an evolving multi-media industry.

Responsibilities :
The successful candidate has an understanding of the advertising industry and brand advertising; is operationally minded, customer service focused, product oriented and a driven self-starter with product and project management skills, as well as strong communication skills. This role will partner with the Sales Enablement team to manage our ad sales operations platforms, assuming a hands-on role on the delivery of new product implementations and enhancements, process improvement initiatives and other responsibilities as assigned.
  • Develop an understanding of the current ad sales operations platforms and use cases in order to effectively plan and execute new implementations, business processes and workflows, troubleshoot and debug issues.
  • Assist in the development of product roadmaps by analyzing process and system issues, and proposing solutions.
  • Track progress, communicate objectives/status, identify and escalate roadblocks, and recommend appropriate mitigation actions/strategies as well as provide white glove support to the end users.
  • Assist in collecting on-going user experience feedback through various avenues to identify use cases for configuration, feature requests and/or process and system improvements.
  • Track, test, and report progress of the Disney Advertising Sales backlog, including requested improvements, and customizations,
  • Raise and identify challenges or configuration requests flagged among the various operations teams.
  • Participate in testing to identify areas of improvement, troubleshoot support, or additional training.
  • Coordinate with Sales and Operations on training plans.
  • Create/maintain training materials and job aid documentation to support platform knowledge and process.
  • Aid in planning and executing data conversion activities.
  • Internal/external communication and collaboration.
  • Provide ongoing support to users, stakeholders, and decision makers.
  • Assist with audit of tickets to understand key themes for training and feature enhancements.

Basic Qualifications :
  • 2 years within a product management, ad operations, or media planning type role, ; or equivalent business work experience.
  • Degree in Business Management, Product Development or related field
  • Proven experience partnering with sales, operations, and technology organizations.
  • Experience managing multiple projects at one time, in various phases of development and managing diverse workloads on a daily basis.
  • Experience with coordination and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience using advertising and related technologies; Linear Ad Sales Systems, Operative, Google Ad Manager and Salesforce a plus.
  • Functional understanding of the roles and technologies in the ad delivery cycle.
  • Experience managing business needs against technology requirements and prioritizing them across other business objectives.
  • Diplomacy, tact and relationship building skills are essential-particularly in situations where team members have conflicting goals and objectives
  • Ability to effectively manage projects with proven ability to work with various groups to reach a common goal.
  • Detail oriented, organized, flexible and able to multi-task and work in fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to communicate at a technical and a business level- translating technical and operational issues and opportunities into business terms.
  • Ability to design, implement, and improve processes.
