This team provides costumes and dresser support for performers in shows, parades, character dining, and atmosphere entertainment. The Entertainment Costuming Manager serves as the front-line leadership point of contact, representing the team to other operations, senior leaders and key partners.
Responsibilities :
Responsibilities include monitoring, analyzing and taking appropriate action on costume inventory, costume laundering and quality, labor and workload needs, costume pre-sets and delivery, and related expenses affecting annual financial targets using computer software to include Microsoft Office, SAP (Systems, Applications, and Products), and GUS (Garment Utilization System).
The Costuming Manager-ECO raises the bar on Guest Service in this Cast-serving-Cast environment by learning, understanding and teaching others operational business drivers, engaging Cast Members and peers to achieve higher levels of service, and presenting new and innovative ideas to help drive the Costuming organization to new heights.
Basic Qualifications :
- Minimum 3 years theatrical, entertainment, costuming and/or related management experience
- Minimum 1 year leadership experience and/or experience in a role of higher responsibility such as Coordinator, Crew Chief, Lead, Trainer, etc.
- Proven familiarity with Disneyland® collective bargaining agreements
- Proven proficiency with various software/computer programs including Excel, Word, Outlook
- Willingness to learn and utilize new software applications as required
- Demonstrated strong partnering, coaching, and mentoring skills
- Demonstrated problem solving skills, influencing abilities, and ability to provide effective feedback
- Demonstrated strong verbal, written and presentation skills
- Proven ability to initiate, organize and complete multiple tasks in a timely manner
- Demonstrated ability to share creative and new ideas
- Demonstrated aptitude for budgeting and scheduling
- Passion for delivering great guest service
- Ability to be flexible with work schedule, including weekends and holidays
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven experience with Disneyland® collective bargaining agreements
- Demonstrated knowledge of CDS, GEMS, and SAP
- Previous experience within Entertainment Operations, Attractions, Merchandise, and/or Food and Beverage line of business
Required Education :
- High School degree or equivalent

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
