This is a Full-time Event Services Coordinator role supporting Disney Meetings and Events. The position is responsible with the coordination, planning, and on-site execution of important internal events and meetings across the Walt Disney World Resort. You will provide excellent communication on event details to our clients and partners. You may also be assigned to assist Event Services Managers with tasks for several events and projects. Role is based at Walt Disney World.

This position will report to an Event Services Director.
Responsibilities :
- Plan and provide on-site support for assigned events.
- Be a contact for internal clients on assigned events.
- Work with important vendors and Disney partners for all event related needs.
- Handle logistical planning for one-day/multi-day events and training programs, resort site visits at Walt Disney World Assist Event Services Managers with tasks Manage budgets for assigned events and provide a cost recap to internal clients.
- Create Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) for WDW programs
- Help plan food and beverage, audio visual, entertainment, décor, room nights, and transportation needs for assigned events.
Basic Qualifications :
- Firm Service Orientation and Guest/Client service skills
- Knowledge of Walt Disney World Resort products
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated continuous improvement process skills
- Ability to change course of action quickly, if necessary
- Comfortable to work with all levels of coworkers
- Must be available to work any day of the week including overtime, weekends, nights and holidays
- At least 1 year of event support experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven experience with DSCS and Siebel
- Knowledge of Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort products
- Sales, Service, Catering, Entertainment, or Park Event Operations experience
Required Education :
- High School Diploma or GED
Preferred Education :
- Bachelor's Degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or Marketing
