Responsibilities:
- Assist in creating menus at Palmetto Dunes and Tide Me Over, adapting to guest feedback and preferences.
- Manage orders, operate the point-of-sale system, handle cash, prepare food, restock items, maintain inventory, and uphold Disney's high standards of cleanliness in both the front and back of the house.
- Develop a deep understanding of the resort, allowing you to provide expert knowledge and insights to our guests.
Basic Qualifications:
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Commit to working a minimum of three days per week, including one weekend day, and be available on national/state holidays.
- Prior experience as a cashier and in quick-service or related restaurant industries.
- Excellent attention to detail, strong follow-through, and ability to lift and carry 50 pounds.
- Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer tasks and familiarity with common tools like Google and Microsoft.
- Outstanding customer service skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to think proactively, resourcefully, and flexibly, with a natural inclination to take initiative.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and a desire to continuously improve.
- Proficiency in a language other than English.
