Your job is to create unforgettable experiences for our guests as a part-time Recreation Lifeguard at Disney's Hilton Head Island Resort.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and respond to emergencies with speed and effectiveness, always prioritizing the safety and well-being of our guests.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in pool areas, ensuring a pleasant atmosphere for all.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions and offering information on recreation activities and equipment rentals.
- Host engaging supervised children's activities that foster creativity and social interaction.
- Deliver refreshments and read stories to little ones, making their stay even more special.
Requirements
- You must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid US driver's license.
- Hold current certifications in US Lifeguarding and First Response.
- Pass a comprehensive vision screening with uncorrected or corrected vision of at least 20/25.
- Demonstrate the ability to monitor all sections of an assigned zone or area of responsibility.
- Meet rigorous physical demands including heavy lifting and working with chemicals.
- Be comfortable working in various environments, both indoors and outdoors.
- This role requires full availability for any shift, including nights and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
- Speakers of additional languages are encouraged to apply.
- Previous lifeguarding experience is highly valued.
