About the Role & Team
The Disney Vacation Club is a vacation ownership/timeshare that gives our Guests the chance to enjoy Disney experiences around the country for years to come.
The DVC Driver transports Guests across Walt Disney World property and to nearby Disney Vacation Club Welcome Home Center locations, engaging with Guests to reduce potential tension during the ride. Safe operation of the vehicle and passenger safety are critical. Maintaining vehicle cleanliness during shifts ensures a show-ready experience.
Reporting to the Sales Support & Services Manager, this full-time role involves transporting Guests to and from Welcome Home Centers located throughout Walt Disney World Resort.
What You Will Do
You will offer travel assistance to Guests at Welcome Home Centers, using an outgoing personality to engage through storytelling and sharing property information. As you transport Members or groups of Guests, provide information on their visit expectations and basic knowledge of Disney Vacation Club membership.
Immerse Guests in their surroundings by sharing property information and providing Guest recovery related to their vacation experience.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Must have a valid FL Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Comfortable driving and maintaining vehicles up to 15 passengers.
- Ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods, handle items up to 25 lbs, and operate ADA equipment.
- Recognize and report van mechanical or safety issues, utilize radio equipment and touchscreen technology.
- Flexible work schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong Guest service skills and ability to complete training standards.
- High level of Cast engagement with value chain partners.
Preferred Qualifications
- Able to resolve guest issues directly or through engaging partners.
- Proficient at storytelling and high level of Cast to Guest engagement.
- Solid understanding of WDW & Company services and products.
- Demonstrated extensive Walt Disney World Park and Property knowledge.
- Multilingual skills desired.
Education
High School Diploma or equivalent relevant experience.
