Job Summary:
The Cultural Representative Program is a twelve-month work experience located at Walt Disney World® Resort, near Orlando, Florida. It is an opportunity to be immersed in different cultures from around the world and build lifelong relationships.
Participants need to be able to authentically represent and showcase the distinctive cultures and traditions of one of the countries or regions we have recreated in look and ambiance at the Walt Disney World® Resort. They will also be interacting with people from across the globe and crafting immersive experiences for our guests, while fulfilling various front-line, customer-facing roles!
Countries and regions represented are: Canada, China, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Morocco, Norway, Southeast Asia (India, Indonesia, Thailand), Sub-Saharan Africa (Botswana, Eswatini, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, Rwanda, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, and Zimbabwe), and United Kingdom.
Accepting applications for arrivals from August through November 2025 for a 12-month program. Additional positions might become available later on (during December 2025 through August 2026).
Responsibilities:
Our Japan Cultural Representatives can be placed in a Kidcot role. Below is the descriptions for Role.Epcot World Showcase - Kidcot:
- Greeting and interacting with guests while providing your cultural heritage
- Organizing craft projects for children
- Maintaining cleanliness of the Kidcot area and pavilion
- Language exchange
- Retrieving and arranging strollers
- Handling emergency evacuations on an attraction when necessary
Basic Qualifications:
To be eligible to apply for the Japan Cultural Representative Program, you MUST:- Speak English fluently.
- Be at least 18 years of age to apply.
- Be able to authentically represent Japan.
- Be receptive to Disney Look guidelines.
- Be fully available to work Sunday through Saturday, including days and nights, holidays and overtime.

Former Cultural Representative Program participants must wait 15 months from your most recent program end date to apply for a new Cultural Representative Program.
Additional Information:
