The Program Manager-Philanthropy Operations focuses on developing and implementing strategies for governance processes, while being responsible for managing company assets; establishing or maintaining systems to efficiently support philanthropic activities; reporting on key site-specific metrics, data and department financials; managing multiple projects in various stages of completion; conducting research and analysis as needed; and generating well-written reports on a variety of topics to assist leadership and teammates with making informed decisions.
This role reports to the Senior Manager, Corporate Social Responsibility.
What You Will Do:
Company Asset Management
- Develop and manage policies, procedures and systems for in-kind distribution of company assets.
- Serve as WDW point-person for communicating company-wide charitable giving policies and enforcing internal controls.
- Lead coordination to create, distribute, fulfill and redeem auction and promotional packages in support of business goals.
- Ensure accurate data collection and reporting in Contribution Management System (i.e. CyberGrants) for company donations and cash contributions, while ensuring proper organization vetting and requirements.
- Manage usage of Disney’s company-sponsored suites at select Orlando venues.
Data and Financial Management
- Responsible for managing budget planning and support including developing and tracking annual operating plans, generating forecasts and creating cause of change explanations as required.
- Maintain WBS Element structure to manage financial planning and actual costs.
- Collaborate with and advise on all aspects of financial and cost management and tracking.
- Process intercompany transactions and oversee administration of payment and procurement processes and systems (i.e. Coupa, etc.) to support financial giving.
Analysis and Reporting
- Record all product and in-kind contributions and lead creation of monthly and annual donation reports.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, tools and mechanisms to evaluate, track and report on progress against stated CSR goals and activities objectives.
Research and Insights
- Collaborate with internal partners to review documents and provide key insight related to business reputation risks.
- Provide issues tracking and trend analysis for Public Affairs and other lines of business. Oversee requests for issue briefs on specific topics.
Operations Support
- Support the EA organization as an integration manager
- Manage mailroom/deliveries both incoming and outgoing as well as monitor inboxes and provide customized guest correspondence
- Maintain accurate contact information for key influencers, elected officials, community and business leaders.
- Support the CSR team in the development, launch and implementation of programs and investments tied to the signature social impact initiatives such as Disney Grants.
Basic Qualifications:
- 5 years professional experience in Corporate Social Responsibility, Public Affairs, Public Policy, Finance, Business Management or related fields with high levels of personal accountability for work.
- Expertise in project management, data collection, data aggregation, data analysis, research and interpretation, and a proven success in delivering on measurable results.
- Proven experience using data management tools such as Excel to create reporting dashboards.
- Self-starter, able to work in a fast-paced environment and navigate ambiguity.
- Organized, results orientated with strong project management and budgeting skills.
- Ability to create compelling materials to align team, executives, and key stakeholders and verbal storytelling/presentation skills to various levels of audience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of various CSR topics and reporting frameworks
- Advanced knowledge and use of Microsoft office suite
- Knowledge and experience using project management, data, and reporting tools (Monday, CyberGrants, Coupa)
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience
