Disney CreativeWorks (DCW) Studio is a full-service branded content studio and creative agency with global scale, proprietary insights and data, unparalleled access to the world's most valuable IP, and a legacy of captivating clients and audiences everywhere. We are responsible for creative, strategy, and production of custom branded entertainment and sponsored content solutions across all Disney Entertainment platforms and channels - Hulu, Disney , ABC, FX, National Geographic, Freeform, Disney Channels, and Disney Branded Television.
As the CreativeWorks Project Manager, you'll get to manage custom co-branded content projects from the initial request all the way to delivery and distribution in an engaging, multi-brand, and multi-platform environment. Your role will include communicating both internally and externally, keeping track of all aspects of the project workflow, and making sure information on scope and deliverables is accurate. You'll align with Disney Ad Sales and clients on processes and expectations, consult with Senior Managers on producer assignments, and work together on schedule and budget reviews/approvals. You'll also oversee all parts of the production process, handle contract negotiations, ensure legal/S&P/BA approvals, and confirm that asset capture, specs, and delivery are all correct.
You'll collaborate closely with Senior Managers, Producers, and Creative Directors, as well as Ad Sales partners and clients. In addition, you'll partner with various teams and key stakeholders across the broader Walt Disney Company, including Disney , Disney Parks, Lucasfilm, Marvel, Walt Disney Studios, and Consumer Products.
In this role, you'll also have the chance to interact directly with external stakeholders, including clients, agencies, and other industry peers, to bring custom content and partnership deliverables to life.
Responsibilities:
Lead complex custom content projects from beginning to end including logistical planning, engaging production vendors, schedule and budget reviews/approvals, tracking all aspects of the production process, aligning on any contract negotiations, confirming legal/S&P/BA approvals, and correct asset capture, specs and delivery.
Have a deep understanding of our DCW business, our partners business, and the key stakeholders, both within The Walt Disney Company and externally, to help with issue resolution. Building and maintaining these relationships.
Working closely with legal, BA, S&P and understanding contract requirements needed to successfully execute programs that utilize IP and/or talent and the rules around allowing advertisers to use these in campaigns
Qualifications:
5 years of professional experience in marketing - publisher or agency experience preferred
Strong producer/project manager with the ability to juggle and prioritize effectively
Strong understanding of the full production and post-production process across all mediums and platforms: streaming, social, video, still photographic, graphics, digital.
Understanding of the entertainment industry and unions
Creative and strategic thinker with excellent written and oral communication skills
Experience interacting with and presenting to senior level executives
Ability to cultivate strong internal relationships and develop effective cross-company working relationship with key business units
Ability to multi-task and prioritize project workflow in a fast-paced environment
Ability to build credibility and collaborate with writers and/or writer/producers, internal stakeholders and vendors as well as lead through influence to keep projects moving forward on time and budget
Understanding of the advertising landscape including linear, digital/social, and streaming
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Keynote, and Google Suite
Education:
Bachelors degree in relevant field of study or equivalent work experience
The hiring range for this position in New York City, New York is $98,600.00 to $132,200.00 per year and in Burbank, CA is $94,200.00 to $126,200.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
Salary : $94,200 - $126,200
