Job Description:
As a Licensed Hair Stylist at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, you will be responsible for providing Guests with professional hair and makeup services at Tenaya Stone Spa. This includes consultations in the art of makeup application and professional cuts, styles and therapeutic treatments for hair.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional hair and makeup services to Guests.
- Conduct consultations to understand Guest needs and preferences.
- Perform a range of hair treatments including cuts, styles, and color applications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Previous experience in a Spa or Hotel environment is required.
- Ability to handle difficult/sensitive situations independently.
- Current state Cosmetologist or Barber license with the state of California is mandatory.
- Excellent communication and listening skills are essential.
- Ability to complete tasks independently and efficiently.
- Familiarity with The Disneyland Resort and surrounding area is a plus.
Schedule and Availability:
Our Theme Parks and Resort Hotels operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Shifts may start as early as 6:00 AM, while some may end as late as 10:00 PM.
Additional Information:
Casual Regular Cast Members must be available to work Friday evenings and have Saturday or Sunday availability. They must also be available to work all holidays and peak seasons.
