A Pruner at the Disneyland Resort provides day-to-day tree care for the Resort's urban forest under the direction of an Arboricultural Manager. This role involves maintaining trees and Resort aesthetics in accordance with the theme of the specific area while ensuring Guest and Cast Member comfort and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain trees and Resort aesthetics to meet theme standards
- Ensure Guest and Cast Member comfort and safety
Basic Qualifications:
- Available to work any shift (1st, 2nd, 3rd) including holidays with variable days off
- Experience performing tree pruning, inspection, and climbing tasks
- Valid California Driver's License
- Western Chapter Certified Tree Worker (WC-CTW) certification or equivalent ability
- At least 18 years old
Schedule Availability:
The Disneyland Resort operates 24/7, 365 days a year. Shifts may start as early as 2:00 AM or end as late as 10:30 AM. This is a full-time role requiring full availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays when needed.
