Job Description
We are looking for a talented Staff Structural Engineer to join our team at the Disneyland Resort. In this role, you will be responsible for providing structural support to the resort as a subject matter expert in the field. You will lead scope development of all Integrated Facility Planning (IFP) projects for current and future fiscal year project planning, including site walks, written scope development, and justification.
You will also provide technical support for legal claims, maintain and update Disney Standards and details, and provide initial review for compliance of proposed space planning efforts/tenant improvement support/workspace options. Additionally, you will lead efforts with Quality Control/Quality Engineering (QC/QE) team to perform regulated structural inspection and direct to repair critical findings timely.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to present complex analyses and issues to all levels of executive management. You will also have experience responding effectively to dynamic situations and personalities, directing and motivating work efforts of others, and handling high-pressure situations.
