Local alarm monitoring center seeking a high energy, customer service oriented individual to join our 1st shift team as an Alarm Monitor/Dispatcher. Providing life safety services to our customers clients is our number one goal. Our call center environment requires an extreme focus and desire to help customers in a professional, courteous, and compassionate manner.
We are located on the North Side of San Antonio in the Hollywood Park Area. Our facility operates 24 hours a day 7 days a week on three eight-hour shifts: 6:45 AM-2:45 PM, 2:45PM-10:45PM, and 10:45PM-6:45AM. All interested individuals should be open to working overtime if requested, and meet all of the requirements below. No part-time positions available.
Current openings - Alarm Dispatcher/Monitor 1st Shift:
This is an entry-level position, TRAINING IS REQUIRED.
- TRAINING SCHEDULE: Wednesday - Sunday 2:45 PM - 10:45 PM
On the job training is paid, and lasts about 3 weeks.
- AFTER TRAINING this fulltime position transitions to a set schedule. The schedule will consist of five days per week, from 6:45 AM to 2:45 PM, with two consecutive days off.
- The schedule will be Saturday - Wednesday, with Thursdays and Fridays off.
Qualifications:
All candidates are required to meet the following in order to be considered for employment:
- 18 years of age or older
- Complete an employment application and interview in person.
- Have a High School Diploma or Equivalent

Job duties (after training include but not limited to): Answering Multiple phone lines and simultaneously documenting information into account history. Communicating with fellow co-workers via internal unified communications. Event Signal handling: following account instructions and procedures on alarm events received. Documentation of events that occurred during alarm activation. Placing systems in test mode for authorized parties by verifying proper passcode/company code. Working with field technicians calling in to verify test signals. Working with Fire Marshal's verifying test signals. Opening service tickets for repairs and/or maintenance. Coordinating after-hours response to clients by on-call technicians Data Entry. Gate access into gated communities via call from site and verification of access list.
