What are the responsibilities and job description for the Vice President - Capital Markets position at Dispatch Energy?
A dynamic energy transition investment platform seeks an experienced Vice President - Capital Market to join our team.
The ideal candidate must have experience in the project finance processes, including M&A, debt and tax equity capital raising. This is a unique opportunity to join a group of seasoned professionals with a track record of success in the distributed generation sector to develop a built-for-purpose platform as it gets off the ground.

Responsibilities:
- Conducting financial modelling (Excel) and valuation analysis
- Assist with and perform project-level due diligence
- Reviewing requests from the lenders, investors and their respective counsel, coordinating with internal project managers to obtain, update and revise deliverables as needed, and providing such deliverables to the investor and other external stakeholders as required.
- Transaction coordination, including diligence questionnaires, data site management, compliance and transaction transition memorandums between groups.
- Facilitating the prompt review of all transaction-related documents by the internal and external legal teams, soliciting commercial input as needed, and working with the management team to optimize transaction structures.
- Reviewing all financial information, including transaction documents, to ensure consistency with the economic model and updating transaction checklists.
- Reviewing, preparing, and supporting the preparation of complex tax models
- Supporting the company's reporting, compliance and relationship management with various capital stakeholders
- Tracking model and budgeted forecasts relative to actual data
Education:
- Bachelor's degree
Experience:
- Minimum of five years of experience in the energy project finance sector, preferably in the renewable energy industry or with a focus on lending and tax equity relationships.

- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, adapting to evolving market conditions and business needs.
Supervisory / Leadership Responsibility:
- The position may exercise supervisory responsibility over one or more employees within the capital project development department as and when it expands.
Travel Requirements:
- Moderate—Moderate travel of short to moderate duration, typically to planned events or meetings, does not include remote or hazardous locations.
Hybrid Work:
- The Platform will require this job to be performed in the Manhattan office Monday through Thursday, with an option for remote work on Fridays.
