About the Position

Distillery is seeking a strategic and innovative Marketing Director to drive our Account-Based Marketing (ABM) and Account-Based Experience (ABX) initiatives while supporting a new partner channel strategy. As a key leader, you will shape the marketing team’s efforts to deepen relationships with strategic accounts and align closely with channel partners like Databricks to amplify business impact. Reporting directly to the CRO, you will oversee marketing strategy and execution, delivering measurable growth in brand awareness, demand generation, and revenue.

Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and execute a marketing strategy centered on ABM and ABX principles to build meaningful engagement with high-value accounts.
  • Partner with the CRO and leadership team to integrate marketing efforts into Distillery’s partner channel strategy, including joint go-to-market (GTM) initiatives with partners like Databricks.
  • Drive joint campaigns, events, and workshops with partners, aligning Distillery’s messaging and value propositions to enhance the partnership’s market impact.
  • Establish clear KPIs to measure the success of account-based and partner-driven marketing efforts.
  • Ensure marketing strategies complement and amplify partner GTM efforts, driving shared pipeline growth.

Account-Based Marketing (ABM) & Demand Generation

  • Lead targeted ABM campaigns to engage key accounts and nurture relationships across the buyer journey.
  • Implement personalized marketing programs and experiences to address specific client needs.
  • Leverage data-driven insights to refine account-specific strategies, ensuring marketing supports the sales process effectively.
  • Lead and inspire the lean marketing team to excel in ABM and ABX practices, fostering a culture of creativity and accountability.
  • Manage agency and vendor relationships.
  • Work cross-functionally with sales, product, and delivery teams to create cohesive and impactful marketing initiatives.
  • Provide mentorship and direction, ensuring the team remains aligned with Distillery’s strategic goals.
  • Brand Development & Positioning

  • Strengthen Distillery’s brand as a trusted partner in nearshore software development, with a focus on industries such as financial services, fintech, ecommerce, automotive and technology platforms.
  • Oversee the creation of high-quality content, messaging, and visuals that resonate with target audiences, particularly within strategic accounts.
  • Data-Driven Insights & Reporting

  • Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics, providing actionable insights to optimize campaigns and align with revenue goals.
  • Report on ABM, ABX, and partner channel marketing outcomes to the CRO and leadership team.
  • Event and Campaign Management

  • Lead the planning and execution of account-specific and partner-driven events, including sponsorships at industry summits and conferences.
  • Collaborate on integrated campaigns to drive engagement and generate leads within the partner ecosystem.
  • Requirements

  • 7 years of progressive marketing experience, including 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing ABM / ABX strategies and B2B marketing strategies, preferably in technology or professional services.
  • Experience collaborating with partner channels to execute joint campaigns and marketing strategies.
  • Strong understanding of CRM tools, marketing automation platforms, and data analytics tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Google Analytics).
  • Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to foster collaboration across departments.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and partners.
  • Nice To Have

  • Familiarity with Databricks, Snowflake, or other cloud-based data platforms.
  • HubSpot Marketing Certification.
  • Proficiency in LinkedIn Campaign Manager and event management tools.
