Our team is known for its collaborative, client-focused approach, and we are currently seeking an experienced, motivated Insurance Defense Attorney to join our growing practice.
Position Overview: We are looking for a highly skilled and self-driven Insurance Defense Attorney to handle a variety of cases involving insurance disputes, including personal injury, property damage, and professional liability claims. As part of our team, you will manage all aspects of case handling, from initial client consultation to trial preparation and litigation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in insurance defense cases, including personal injury, property damage, and other liability claims.
- Handle complex litigation, including depositions, discovery, motions, settlement negotiations, and trial preparation.
- Provide legal counsel and strategic guidance to clients, ensuring their best interests are represented.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys, paralegals, and other support staff to ensure timely and efficient case management.
- Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends affecting insurance defense matters.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Active Massachusetts Bar membership.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in insurance defense litigation.
- Strong experience in handling personal injury and liability cases, including discovery, depositions, and trials.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Proven ability to manage a caseload effectively and meet deadlines.
