What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Tax Accountant position at Distinct | North America?
It’s rare to find a culture where the managing partner really cares about their employees. They will make each schedule suit a person’s commitments and offer a lot of flexibility to every single employee. As a result of this, they pride themselves on having great staff retention and longevity of service through their flexibility.
You’ll be joining a true small/mid size CPA firm located in NJ. They currently have around 50 employees and looking to grow, but only with the right candidates.
During the summer, they have ‘fun Fridays’ and you get every other Friday off. They also have lots of social events to suit different people and pride themselves on having a great culture with a diverse background of people.
They’ve created an 'in-it-together' environment where everyone wants to help each other, during busy season too. They don’t want their staff overworked and always are monitoring people’s workload and assigning to not overwhelm people with work.
The culture is very family first, if you have family things to sort out, you prioritize that instead of coming to work, which is no surprise as to why they keep their staff for a very long time.
They do prefer people to be in office but understand people have different obligations. During training and onboarding you will be in person but then could flex to hybrid once used to the systems etc.
We’re helping them find a Senior Tax Accountant who can come into the tax team and also review returns. Must be local to their offices.
