What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tax Senior Associate position at Distinct?
You’ll be joining a Top 30 CPA firm with a supportive, collaborative culture, that truly prioritizes what their team want. They send out regular employee surveys asking what changes people want to see, so you don’t have to be a Partner for your voice to be heard. This is how the firm closure over Thanksgiving and July 4th was implemented.
You will have a flexible/hybrid working schedule and offer fantastic progression opportunities and sophisticated client work all without working 80-hour weeks.
The firm wants to reward you for the work that you put in so you will have fantastic benefits including up to 30 days of PTO, (not including the week that they close for Thanksgiving or the week they close for the 4th of July), as well as medical, dental, vision, life, disability - short and long, 401k, mat/pat leave policy, childcare extras and a few extra bits for wellbeing too.
Ideally, you will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in another public accounting firm as well as your CPA or eligibility to sit for the exam. They have an extensive client base, and experience with Private Client Services, Commercial Real Estate, PCS, IT, Bio-Tech Pharmaceutical, Construction, M&D or Healthcare would also be beneficial.
