The Maintenance Technician performs routine and emergency maintenance tasks to ensure the proper operation of campus facilities and systems, adhering to contract requirements. Key responsibilities include inspecting and repairing HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems, performing routine building inspections and preventive maintenance, responding to emergency maintenance requests, and documenting maintenance activities in the Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). Additional duties may be assigned.
Qualified candidates possess a high school diploma or equivalent and 3 years of experience in building maintenance. Certification in HVAC, plumbing, or electrical systems is preferred. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to excellence with a strong ability to adapt to high standards required by this government contract.
