About the role
Supports the SPO Manager in implementing and maintaining the Center’s behavior management programs. This role assists with reviewing incident reports, coordinating the disciplinary process, and providing direct support to students. The SPO Assistant also ensures documentation is accurate and timely while promoting a structured and supportive student environment.
What you'll do
- Assist in reviewing and processing student incident reports.
- Support the administration of the disciplinary and incentive system.
- Provide direct support to students regarding behavioral expectations.
- Coordinate the scheduling and documentation of the Review Board process.
- Assist in preparing reports and maintaining accurate behavioral records.
- Communicate behavioral expectations to students during orientation.
- Support the SPO Manager in training staff on behavioral management policies.
- Ensure compliance with all Job Corps policies related to student discipline.
- Contribute to a positive and structured Center culture that supports student success.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of one year of experience in youth services, counseling, or behavioral management.
- Must have a valid driver’s license in the state of residence.
